27 Сен Potato and cauliflower bake
Preparation time: 20 min. preparation, 35/40 min. cooking
Recipe for: 4 persons
Main ingredients: potatoes , cauliflower
> 500 g potatoes
> 600 g cauliflower florets, removed from the central stem
> 150 g milk
> 200 g b?chamel sauce
> 50 g Grana Padano cheese, grated
> 3 anchovy fillets
> pinch of chilli powder
> salt and pepper
> 10 g butter
> 5 g coarse breadcrumbs
1. Peel and slice the potatoes, then parboil in salted water. Parboil the cauliflower florets in salted water.
2. Butter an oven dish and arrange a layer of cauliflower on the bottom, then sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with a few pieces of anchovy, season with a pinch of pepper and cover with potato slices. Repeat the layers, remembering to sprinkle cheese between one layer and the next.
3. When you have used up all the vegetables, dust with chilli powder, pour over the b?chamel and milk and finish with the breadcrumbs and a few knobs of butter. Bake in the oven at190° for 30 minutes.
